The official charter ceremony was conducted on March 28, 1989 in the International Room of the Holiday Inn. Bro. Berry Jordan acted as Master of Ceremonies with special guests such as: Bro. Astrid K. Mack (Immediate Past 7th District Representative), Bro. Henry A. Spears (7th District Representative), Bro. William W. Crosby (State Representative), Bro. Robert Church (Past Georgia State Representative) and Bro. Ronald Taylor (Basileus, Lambda Phi Chapter). Also in attendence were; Bro. Matthew Vinson, Bro. Don Cray, Bro. Jesse Mays and Bro. James Witherspoon; along with undergraduate brothers from Upsilon Sigma.

With the four cardinal principles firmly established in their hearts and souls, the brothers embarked on becoming an integral part of Warner Robins and surrounding communities. Omega Gamma Gamma went on to participate in such far ranging activities as adopting a local elementary school as part of their Assault on Illiteracy initiative, sponsoring the trophies to be presented at the International City Football Classic and the Warner Robins Clean Community Commission by joining the local Adopt-A-Road program. Shortly thereafter, Omega Gamma Gamma established its first pledge club and later crossed its initial line.  The brothers on that first line were:

Entering the new millennium, Omega Gamma Gamma is poised to face the many demanding challenges that confront Warner Robins and surrounding communities during these difficult times.
